Facility Information
OELC`s primary function differs from that of a resort-style conference centre and, therefore, our complement of amenities is more limited. Accordingly, we are pleased to offer user groups a substantial savings on our rates. Our facilities are camp-like in design, complete with modern dining room and meeting rooms and rustic cabins set in a relaxed natural environment.
Accommodation:
During the spring, summer and fall, the Centre can provide overnight accommodation for 250 people. Sixty beds are in cabins which have self-contained washroom facilities. The remaining cabins utilize nearby centralized washroom facilities. Please advise your group participants to bring their own sleeping bag (or bedding) and pillow and towels.
Meeting Facilities
The Centre has meeting space for 1,000 people throughout 11 different sized rooms, plus a gymnasium. Most audio/visual and presentation equipment is available on site.
Meals
Meals are prepared by a qualified catering company and OELC prides itself on the quality and quantity of food provided. Our chef would be pleased to discuss any special dietary needs or concerns your group may have.
Miscellaneous
- OELC has a strict "no smoking inside any building" policy.
- The site is completely barrier free for handicapped accessibility.
- OELC is a peanut free facility. Please advise your delegates not to bring any to the site.
