Secondary Music
This course is designed to provide a leadership experience for secondary school students through the medium of music. Since the course is designed to provide leadership development through experiential activities, the student should possess at least average music ability. It is not necessary to be a skilled musician, however, students must play an orchestral wind, brass, string or percussion instrument or sing.

Students should be selected to meet the following criteria:
a full-time student studying in an Ontario Secondary School
enrolled in Grades 9 - 11 in 2009-2010
14 - 17 years of age
committed to contribute to the school's co-curricular programs
has not attended this specific course in the past.

Registration Process
Applications for our leadership courses are received on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited for some of the programs, so to ensure a spot we suggest applying as soon as you are able.
Although students may attend more than one OELC course, it can not be the same course twice.
In all cases, students must be endorsed by their school to participate.
